Abstract

En los últimos años, nuestro grupo ha desarrollado distintos procesos secuenciales que acoplan reacciones radicalarias e iónicas, y que permiten la conversión directa de sustratos de fácil obtención, como carbohidratos, aminoácidos e hidroxiaminas, en productos de alto valor añadido.1 Los procesos llevados a cabo se inician por la escisión de O-radicales, siendo el paso inicial la generación de un O-radical que evoluciona por escisión del enlace entre el carbono a y el carbono b, formando un C-radical que es atrapado por yodo para dar distintos derivados. Cuando en el intermedio existen grupos donantes de electrones X (como grupos alcoxilo, amino, amido o arilo), se produce la extrusión del grupo halogenado para dar un intermedio catiónico, como un ión oxicarbenio o aciliminio. Estos intermedios pueden ser atrapados por nucleófilos obteniéndose una gran variedad de productos (conversión 1→5)
