Reordenamiento de éteres propargílicos vinílicos con unidades metínicas y metilénicas en posición homopropargílica: 2,4-ciclohexadienonas versus salicialdehídos

Abstract

El reagrupamiento [3,3]-sigmatrópico de éteres propargílicos vinílicos (en adelante PVEs), también denominado reagrupamiento propargílico de Claisen, permite transformar estas unidades propargílicas en sistemas alénicos funcionalizados, bloques de construcción molecular de alto valor añadido en síntesis orgánica. En esta comunicación se presentará el resultado de nuestra investigación sobre este reagrupamiento cuando las unidades de PVE llevan en posición homopropargílica (posición contigua al carbono sp3 directamente unido al triple enlace) un resto metino y/o uno metilénico. Hemos estudiado el efecto que la diferente acidez de los correspondientes enlaces C-H de ambos grupos y la diferente estabilidad de los intermedios generados en el reagrupamiento tienen en el devenir químico de este reagrupamiento y su posterior reacción de 6 pi-electrociclación. El resultado obtenido nos permite añadir un nuevo patrón molecular (2,4-ciclohexadienonas) al grupo de estructuras que han sido generadas mediante el uso de este reagrupamiento molecular de PVEs.
