La Genealogía se ha consolidado durante los últimos decenios en la vanguardia de las llamadas Ciencias Auxiliares o Ciencias y Técnicas Historiográficas1. Su reconocimiento académico también ha llegado en tiempos no muy lejanos; buena muestra de ello son los cursos, doctorados, conferencias, seminarios universitarios... que con cierta frecuencia se celebran en las universidades españolas; menciono aquí, naturalmente, el “Máster Universitario en Derecho Nobiliario y Premial, Genealogía y Heráldica” desarrollado en la Fundación General UNED2.
