Levantar un ejército en Aragón: la contribución en armas de Zaragoza a la monarquía hispánica a mediados del siglo XVII

Abstract

En la década de 1640 la monarquía demandó cuantiosos recursos económicos y en hombres de armas del reino aragonés, pero todo era insuficiente. La escasez de armamento y de bagajes le obligaron a pedirlos a las ciudades. Esta comunicación explica la contribución de la ciudad de Zaragoza, que en 1647 elaboró un recuento de hombres, armas de fuego, carros y animales para servir al soberano.

El presente trabajo se ha realizado en el marco del proyecto del proyecto de investigación HAR 2016-75899P del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad.
