La monetarización de las sociedades urbanas mediterráneas en los siglos XVI y XVII

Abstract

Este artículo constará de dos partes. Una primera versará sobre las características generales de los sistemas monetarios metálicos y el contexto monetario mediterráneo durante los siglos modernos y una segunda en la que se tratará de un modo más concreto el papel de las ciudades en el proceso de monetarización y los efectos de éste en los distintos grupos sociales de la época.
