[EN] The self-sterility of the pear variety Louise Bonne d'Avranches, its intersterility with Williams and its ability to produce parthenocarpic fruits is confirmed. Cross-pollination with any of the varieties: Monsallard, Coscia \Ercolini), Leonardeta, Beurre Clairgeau, Abate Fetel and Agua de Aranjuez, is recommended. These varieties have approximately the same chilling requeriments as Louise Bonne d'Avranches and therefore simultaneous blossoming -can be expected under different climatic conditions.
