Procedimiento para la reducción selectiva de óxidos de nitrógeno

Abstract

[EN] The invention relates to a method for the selective reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) to nitrogen in the presence of oxygen, using hydrogen as a reducing agent, as well as a active-selective catalyst comprising platinum (Pt) supported on amorphous silica-alumina. The method can be used to remove nitrogen oxides from emissions generated by the combustion of stationary and moving sources, particularly diesel engines.

[ES] Procedimiento para la reducción selectiva de óxidos de nitrógeno (NOx) a nitrógeno en presencia de oxígeno que utiliza hidrógeno como agente reductor, así como un catalizador activo y selectivo basado en platino (Pt) soportado sobre sílice-alúmina amorfa. Este procedimiento permite la eliminación de óxidosde nitrógeno procedente de emisiones de combustión de fuentes fijas y móviles, especialmente de motores diésel.
