[EN] The invention relates to a focusable Compton camera comprising: a Compton dispersion detector (1); at least one absorption detector (2, 2'), the planes of which are separate from the plane of the dispersion detector (1); and a mechanical system (3) for separating the dispersion (1) and absorption detectors (2, 2') so as to vary said distance (d) between said detectors (1, 2, 2'). The invention allows the improvement of the information associated with the formation of images by means of gamma radiation, by calculating the distance of the evaluated objects, and identifying the distribution of the radioisotopes present in said objects, thereby overcoming the limitations of other equipment and cameras of prior art.
