[ES] Uso de dos aislados del virus del mosaico del pepino dulce para conferir protección frente a una infección del mismo virus. La presente invención se refiere al uso de dos aislados de cepas distintas del virus del mosaico del pepino dulce (PepMV) para conferir protección a una planta frente a una infección por PepMV, en el que ambos aislados (i) pertenecen a distintas cepas, (ii) interactúan de forma antagonista entre ellos, y (iii) el aislado de la primera cepa de PepMV pertenece al genotipo chileno (CH2), y el aislado de la segunda cepa de PepMV pertenece al genotipo europeo (EU), al genotipo americano (US), al genotipo peruano original (PE) o al genotipo sur peruano (PES). También se describe el método para conferir protección a una planta frente a una infección por PepMV así como el kit que comprende los componentes necesarios para poner en práctica la presente invención.
[EN] The present invention relates to the use of two isolates of different strains of Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) to protect a plant against infection by PepMV, wherein the isolates belong to different strains and interact antagonistically. Also described is a method for protecting a plant against infection by PepMV, as well as a kit that comprises the components necessary for implementing the invention.
