General method for obtaining biocatalysts which comprises enzyme immobilisation during the synthesis of metallo-organic materials

Abstract

[EN] The present invention relates to a general method for obtaining biocatalysts which comprises immobilising enzymes in situ in the intercrystalline mesoporosity formed by nanocrystal aggregation during the synthesis of a metallo-organic material (MOF). The method of the invention allows the obtainment of a high enzyme content on the support , the minimisation of the reduction of catalytic efficiency in relation to that of the free enzyme, and the reduction of losses as a result of leaching, thereby resolving the limitations identified in the known methods for obtaining biocatalysts, which are based on in-situ enzyme immobilisation. The invention also relates to the biocatalysts directly obtained by the method.
