Abstract

Ce projet a été réalisé grâce aux financements accordés par le Ministère espagnol de l’Education et de la Science (BHA2003-09685-CO2-01), le vice-Rectorat de la Recherche de l’Université de Cantabre, l’Institut du Patrimoine Historique Espagnol du Ministère de la Culture, le Ministère de la Science et de l’Innovation (projets I+D: HUM2007-66128-C02-01, HUM2007-66128-C02-02) et le Conseil de la Recherche de l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (FLSH 45). Par ailleurs, le travail de la partie syrienne s’inscrit dans un projet (From the adaptation of agriculture to the current landscape) MENMED N ICA3-CT-2002-10022.

Dans ces pages, nous présentons les travaux de la troisième (2006) et quatrième (2007) campagnes de prospections conduites par la mission syro-libano-espagnole (Haïdar-Boustani et al., 2005, 2008) dans le territoire compris entre la ville de Homs à l’est et le Crac des Chevaliers à l’ouest, le village de Chîne au nord, la frontière libanaise et la rive nord du lac Qattina au sud.
