La Mostra Internazionale di Archeologia en Roma (1911): La Dama del Cerro de los Santos (Montealegre del Castillo, Albacete) en las Termas de Diocleciano

Abstract

[EN]: In the present study, we briefly introduce some notes about the Spanish section of the Mostra Internazionale di Archeologia 1911, organized in Rome for the fiftieth anniversary of the unification of Italy. On this occasion, we deal with the integration of the Iberian world represented by the cast of the Dama del Cerro de los Santos (Montealegre del Castillo, Albacete) located in the center of the Hispaniae Room and surrounded by Roman pieces. In this sense, our thoughts delve into this Iberian presence at an exhibition of the Roman world as a reflection of both a national identity and a key element for the confirmation of the Iberian cultural model.
