Abstract

[EN] The Iberian species of genus Heterotoma Lepeletier and Serville, 1825: H. planicornis (Pallas, 1772) and H. diversipes Puton, 1876, are studied, as well as H. merioptera (Scopoli, 1763), much related taxonomically to them. Biometric, male genital (illustrated) and antennal characters are shown to be valid taxonomic characters for their distinction. A dichotomic key for the species identification is provided and data on biology and distribution are also included.
