Abstract

[EN] Ramonoppia n. gen. (Acari, Oribatei Opiidae) fron Gerona, and description of Ramonoppia amparoae n. sp. On this paper a new genus Ramonoppia (family Oppiidae) and a new species R. amparoae are described. The new species is characterized by: big dimensions, lentgh 430-468 pm width 180-216 ¡mi; 14 pairs of notogastral setae with cilia on the terminal half, pair c2 incurved over its insertion, and it is slightly shorter than the rest of the notogastral setae; five pairs of genital setae, and pair ad3 in preanal position.

[ES] En este trabajo se presenta la descripción de un nuevo género Ramonoppia, de la familia Oppiidae, y de una nueva especie Ramonoppia amparoae. Esta especie se caracteriza por su gran tamaño, presencia de 14 pares de setas notogástricas con el par c2 desarrollado e incurvado sobre su punto de inserción, cinco pares de setas genitales, y posición preanal de la seta ad3.
