[EN] The present study deals with the collembolenfauna of different localities of the Cantabria Mountains. A total of 43 species have been found in the study area of wich three are new to science. From the ecological point of view we can cluster the trends of the distribution of the species in three different groups: the first one of acidophilous species, the second of the species living in soils of pH greater than 5 and the last one of tolerant or indifferent species.
