Abstract

Nuestra compañera ESPERANZA PLAZA falleció el día 26 de enero del año en curso. Ha recaído en mí el triste deber de redactar esta líneas biográficas, como recuerdo a su labor científica y a su amistad, debida ésta no sólo a la proximidad de los puestos de trabajo y coincidencia de las investigaciones coleopterológicas sino también porque durante algunos años colaboré en su orientación entomológica. Por estas razones conozco algunos detalles de su vida científica y profesional que creo interesante comentar.
