Mediante science mapping, se muestra la visualización de la estructura intelectual de la inteligencia artificial, a nivel mundial. Se identifican sus principales líneas de investigación a partir de las citas de sus trabajos, como interactúan entre sí, mediante la detección de los nodos con un alto grado de centralidad de betweenness o intermediación, así como el nivel de actividad, de cada una de ellas, por medio del uso de un indicador denominado citation burst. Se finaliza con un estudio longitudinal y evolutivo de las líneas detectadas.
