[ES] El autor pone de manifiesto el auge y revitalización de la técnica del estuco en el reinado de Carlos III. El artífice francés estudiado es el mas idóneo para realizar estas decoraciones, no sólo en el Palacio de Madrid, sino en otros Sitios Reales. Se reproducen y estudian los diferentes motivos ornamentales elegidos por Sabatini y trabajados por Michel para las distintas piezas del Palacio. En alguna de las salas aparece colaborando con el su hermano Pedro. Todo el articulo esta apoyado sobre una base documental hasta ahora inédita que se encuentra en el Archivo de! Palacio Real de Madrid.
[EN] The author stales the rise and revitalization af thc stucco technique during the Carlos 111 kingdom. The french artist is the most suitable to make these decorations. not only in the "Palacio Real de Madrid" but also in the "Sitios Reales". In some of these rooms, the sculptor's brother Pedro collaborate in the works. Al1 the anicles are supponed on a documental basis which is found in the Funds of the Royal Palace of Madrid.
