Abstract

En la mañana del dia 12 de mayo del presente afío, el petrolero "URQUIOLA" cargado con 130.000 Tm de crudo procedente del Golfo Pérsico encalló en la entra da de la Ría de La Coruña. Después de diversas maniobras a las dos de la tarde de dicho día el buque se incendió y habiendo sufrido roturas en su casco que afectaron a diversos tanques se desparramó por la zona señalada en la figura 1 una cantidad de crudo de petroleo de 110.000 Tm.
