Abstract

[ES] De la corteza de la raíz de la Catha cassinoides W.B. (Celastraceae) se ha aislado una nueva hidroxi-metilen-quinona bis-nor-triterpénica, denominada iguesterina, cuya estructura se fija como I en base a sus datos espectroscópicos.

[EN] From the bark of the roots of Catha cassinoides W.B. (Celastraceae) a new bis-nor-triterpene hydroxyquinone methide named iguesterin has been isolated and its structure determined as I on the basis of spectral data.
