[EN] The characterization of a sugar beet primary trisomics set, in heterozygous background, has been made through qualitative observations and leaf morphometry. Eight out of the nime trisonic types are easily distinguishable between themselves and from the diploid. Type 9 looks and behaves very similar to the diploid. A comparison with the trisomics of another set, in homozygous background, resulted in great similarities between the trisomics of both sets. Nevertheless the trisomics with heterozygous background presented some identification problems through multivariate analysis, due mainly to the masking effect of the genotypic variability.
