Tres ciudades antiguas de Mauritania: Azuqi, Šinqit y Walata

Abstract

Se describen los restos conservados de tres ciudades incluidas en las rutas de las caravanas que surcaron el desierto del Sahara hasta hace pocos años. De Azuqui (Azougui)solo quedan vestigios, pero Šinqit (Chinguetti) y Walata han sido incluidas en un programa de ayuda patrocinado por la UNESCO que permite albergar esperanzas sobre su recuperación.
