Abstract

[EN] On the northern coast of Catalonia, the north-eastern región of Spain, at the villag'e of Arenys de Mar, there were found among the sea-weeds, in the summer of 1947, four specimens of Bathyechiniscus tetronyx G. Steiner, a species which up till then had been found only in the Antartic and the Sargasso Sea. At about the same time, on the same coast but a little further north, between the villages of Lloret and Tossa, a single specimen of Baiillipes Mirus Richters was found among the marine rock sediments at an approximate depth of two to three meters.
