Como conclusión a un symposium en el que se han tratado cuestiones tan diferentes resulta difícil exponer algo que no sea trivial ni demasiado vago. Lomejor quizás será desarrollar algunas ideas, que inciten a la discusión, provocando así, algunas respuestas apropiadas a los problemas prácticos planteados. […] Varias de las comunicaciones presentadas al symposium han tratado sobre el tema praderas y lagos. Cabe considerar ambas clases de sistemas muy diferentes entre sí, pero los dos son explotados por el hombre frecuenternente, sin especial ordenación y permaneciendo en forma no muy distinta de la primitiva o "natural".
