Abstract

[EN] Somaclones were obtained from anther calluses of clone 135 from cultivar Grenache N; they were grafted in S04 and established on a sandy soil (ENTAV, Domaine de l'Espiguette). Several qualitative and quantitative parameters of the green shoot, leaf, berry and seeds were studied in 16 somaclones and a control plant. The following results were obtained: ~ The leaves of tile control plant had no sinus and a null or very weak density of erect hairs between the main veins. Somaclones' leaves had deeper sinuses and higher density of erect hairs between the veins than those of the control clone. ~ The seeds of the 7 somaclones weighed more than those of the control plant and the others somaclones. Finally, before propagating somaclones, it will be necessary to verify that all the characteristics agree with the varietal type and are stable along time.
