En los tableros de la sillería del coro de la Catedral de Toledo se representaron las principales escenas de la Guerra de Granada (1482-1491). En varias de ellas se manifiesta la importancia que tuvo el uso de la artillería pesada por parte de los Reyes Católicos en la capitulación o toma de las ciudades del reino nazarí.
