Abstract

En el proceso emancipador de las naciones hispanoamericanas la insurgencia quiteña de 1809 a 1812 fue peculiar por el protagonismo desempeñado en ella por el clero. Desentrañar los caracteres del reo desempeñado por el clero en la revolución quiteña es el objetivo del presente artículo.
