[EN] This fourth paper in the series devote(' to tue oribatid mites from soils of Spain contains descriptions and records of species belonging to the farnilies Pelopsidae, Achipteriidae, Oribatellidae, Ceratozetidae, Mycobatidae, Chamobatidae, Euzetidae and Galumnidae, being 62 species in all that are dealt with. A detailed list of sampling localities has been given previously (Graellsia, XXIV, 1968, pages 151-163). A new list of localities is now added as a result of the worl; carried out by Miss Carmen Capilla and Miss Ana M. Salinas in the author's laboratory and under his direction. A new subspecies Humerobatcs rostrolamellatus guadarramicus n. ssp. has been described from different localities in the Sierra de Guadarrama, near Madrid. The principal differences between the new subspecies and the nominate form are the following : 1) Greater body size, length : 9 9 912-936 it , 8` 816-880 width : 9 9 684-696 it , g 648-660 2) Translamella only recognizable at both ends, being wholly effaced in the rniddle. 3) Tutorium that in lateral view presents an acute-angled apex. The border running from this apex to the prodorsal surface shows two incisions and a central tip, instead of being whole and not indented as in tue nominate form. The shape of tutorium resembles that one of the New Guinean species H. papuanus Balogh, 1970. A certain number of new synonyms have been estabilished as a result of the present revision, mainly based on the collections preserved at the Instituto Espailol de Entomología, Madrid.
