Abstract

Nas frequentes visitas de estudo a S. Tomé e Príncipe, cuja finalidade dominante tem sido a de aplicar métodos de luta biológica contra os insectos prejudiciais às culturas, näo ternos esquecido de reunir elementos para inventariar as espécies entomológicas locais. Um born número de espécies tém sido determinadas. Para contrabalançar a intensa aplicaçäo de insecticidas que se esboçou em todo o Mundo, continuamos a tentar corn éxito a luta biológica. Foi o que sucedeu con Asterolecanium pustulans ver. princeps.
