[EN] A brief comparative study between Dicranura vinula (L.) and D. iberica Tempi. et Ort. has been done. Specimens of D. iberica from several regions of the Iberian Peninsula and specimens of D. vinula from Germany wrere bred at the same time in laboratory from the egg stage. Clear differences between egg, larva, pupa and imago of both species were found. The cytogenetic analysis showed that D. iberica from North, Central and South Spain and also from Portugal have n = 24 chromosomes and D. vinula have n = 21 chromosomes.
