Abstract

La coexistencia en una localidad determinada de especies estrechamente relacionadas y que, a efecto de los mecanismos de transferencia de energía en los ecosistemas, y, por lo tanto, de producción de entropía, pueden considerarse como equivalentes, como suele ser el caso de las especies pertenecientes al mismo género, plantea problemas de considerable interés, ya que el fenómeno representa un disminución del coste termodinámico necesario para el funcionamiento del sistema.
