Comentario sobre la introducción de "Macrocystis pyrifera" en las costas europeas

Los científicos del Institut des Pêches Maritimes (ISTPM) de Nantes han llevado a cabo estudios sobre el crecimiento de Macrocystis pyrifera en las costas de Bretaña francesa; varias publicaciones han aparecido sobre esta planta en revistas francesas (PÉREZ, 1973). Al mismo tiempo, se han presentado en reuniones internacionales dos comunicaciones, una en Lisboa (1973) y otra en un Seminario sobre Ecología, Biogeografía y Biocenótica de Algas, organizado en Roscoff (noviembre 1973) por la Société Phycologique de France.
