Abstract

Dentro del conjunto de la investigación biológica fundamental la etología, o estudio de la conducta de los animales, está adquiriendo un lugar cierta,ente de extraordinario interás. Una ojeada rápida a esta nueva ciencia biológica que cabalga en parte sobre la biología y en parte sobre la psicología, muestra con claridad que la mayoría de las experiencias se han desarrollado en el campo de los vertebrados superiores; por contraste son escasos nuestros conocimientos en lo que se refiere al estudio de la conducta de los peces.
