Morfología y distribución geográfica en España de la « niña del astrágalo» Plebejus (Plebejus) pylaon (F. d. W., 1824)

Abstract

Fue descrita por Fischer de Waldheim en 1824 (Nouv. Mém. Moscou, II, pág. 357, lám. XIX, figs. 5 y 6) con ejemplares del Sur del Ural, en Rusia. Rambur la descubrió diez arios después, por primera vez para la Península, en las colinas cerca de Alfacar, provincia de Granada, publicándola como Polyommatus hespericus en 1842 (V.a entrega de la Faun. ent. de l'Andalousie, págs. 270-271, lám. X, figs. 1-4), aunque es sólo subespecie de pylaon. Durante mucho tiempo no se la conoció en España más que de las Sierras Alfacar y Nevada y la serranía de Albarracín. En mayo de 1950, el Dr. D. Baldomero Galán la encontró en La Mata, provincia de Toledo, y el 15 de mayo de 1965, (de la manera más inesperada, la halló también en el monte del Regajar, término de Aranjuez, en la de Madrid. Después la ha descubierto en los siguientes municipios de aquella comarca: Carmena, Carpio de Tajo, Malpica (le 'fajo, Mesegar y San Martín de Montalbán.
