[EN]This paper studies the sunlight and shade ínfluence on the growth characters of 13 Dactylis glomerata L. populations. The most affected characters were plant height, flag leaf length, flag leaf ligule and panicle length, and width. It is not possible to assure the influenoe of sunlight and shade upon certain charaaers because of the presence of diploid and tetraploid populatione and other concurrent factors such as temperature, moisture, etc. The correlation coefficient between severa! characters has been calculated, outstanding the highly negative correlation between dry matter and nitrogen contení, and between dry matter and plant height.
