Abstract

EN] The objective of the present paper is to detect Dactylis glomerata subsp. hispánica in the North of the Iberian Península. Thirty three natural tetraploid populations were compared morphologically during two years using Mg0642, Mg0643 and dhl230 hispánica as controls. The traits used were heading date, leaf and flower dimensions. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed signifícant differences between populations for most of the characters, using the main valúes of the first year and the second one, cluster analysis was applied to obtain euclidian Mahalanobis distances between populations. Six population groups resulted. Populations of subspecies hispánica tend to cluster like subspecies glomerata do. The galician izcoi populations are cióse to glomerata groups. Six D. glomerata subsp. hispánica were found in the interior of Asturias and on the Cordillera Cantábrica , together with the former studies, there are in total 11 populations detected. D. glomerata subsp. hispánica was not found in Galicia.
