This chapter contains the explanation of the theorical and methodological aims of the Spanish partners of the research project in the Beagle Channel. The Archaeology of hunter-gatherer societies in Prehistory needs a development in the research of social organisation. This is linked with the social organisation of space and, hence, new theoretical implements of analysis are needed to answer these claims. These aims can be met through the interface between archaeological and ethnographical information.
