[ES] Se pretende una reflexión histórica sobre la concepción del cuerpo humano en relación con la clínica psiquiátrica. Se abordan algunos aspectos especialmente significativos de la «somatización» de lo mental por parte del alienismo decimonónico y se apunta una interpretación antropológica del cuerpo en la encrucijada de la salud mental, basada en el abordaje del mismo, bien como un objeto científicamente observable (cuerpo visto), bien como una realidad subjetiva(cuerpo sentido).
[EN] The goal of this paper is to made anhistorical analysis about the conceptionof the human body in relationship withclinical psychiatry. We focused our studyon some specially significant aspects ofthe decimononic alienism, as the«somatization» of the mind. We advancean anthropological interpretation of thecomprehension of the body in thecrossroads of the mental health, basedon thinking the body as scientificallyobservable object (seen body) or assubjective reality (felt body)
