[EN] Mercury analysis were done by A.A.S. according to the cold vapor technique. It can be seen that the mercury content is higher as we approach the surface of the sediment and also as we approach the shore line. We have found a difference of three orders of magnitude between upper levels near the shore and deep levels far from the shore. Also for similar depths, the samples extracted at the North have a lower concentration than those extracted at the South
