Abstract

[ES] Durante el período comprendido entre julio de 1978 y marzo de 1979 se llevaron a cabo muestreos periódicos de zooplancton frente al colector Prim, que conduce al mar la mayor parte de las aguas residuales de Barcelona. Estas campañas formaban parte del «Estudio interdisciplinario de la incidencia de los vertidos procedentes de la depuración de aguas residuales de la ciudad de Barcelona en el ámbito marino», llevado a cabo por el Instituto de Investigaciones Pesqueras de Barcelona a petición del Ayuntamiento de dicha ciudad. [EN] Zooplankton biomass, expressed as organic carbon and nitrogen, has been studied by means of discrete water samples in a coastal area polluted by urban waste. The samples, consisting on 30 liter of water, were taken at 0, 10, 30 and 50 m depth, by means of Van Dorn bottles, and were filtered through 200 um pore size nylon filters. [...]
