Abstract

[EN] During PLTAFORMA XV Cruise (9-22 february, 1983) there were done seve ral legs on Alboran sea between the spanish and moroccan coasts measuring continnously the following parameters: salinity, temperature and nitrate--nitrite. The water was pumped from 1 meter below the surface. The deep water upwellings found, with mediterranean characteristica, keep close relation to bottom topography. Those situations show maximum intensity in superficial waters, near the ramp of the spanish continental shelf, continuing towards the coast with nutrient concentration nitrates--nitrites–decreasin while photosynthesis increases
