Abstract

En esta tercera y última nota sobre el género Orthomus paso a ocuparme de las restantes razas del complejo del O. barbarus Dej. diseminadas por el Mediterráneo occidental : Islas de Sicilia, Cerdeña, Pantellaria, Lampedusa, Baleares, Península Ibérica y sur de Francia. También me ocupo en el presente trabajo de aquellas especies próximas al barbarus: O. balearicus P. Brül. y planiclorsis Fairm. Hasta la fecha cuantas otras citas se conocen de Orthomus capturados en otros países de Europa central o meridional (Hungría e Italia, por ejemplo), son de dudosa validez y nunca han podido ser confirmadas satisfactoriamente.
