Abstract

En el año 1992 se publica la primera edición del Catálogo Colectivo de la Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias, con los objetivos de facilitar por un lado el préstamo interbibliotecario, y por otro el aprovechamiento de los registros bibliográficos para la catalogación. Hoy en día el Catálogo REBIUN es una realidad consolidada y se ha convertido en un instrumento indispensable para la cooperación bibliotecaria en nuestro país. 23 años después el Grupo de Trabajo de Catálogo Colectivo, en estrecha colaboración con Baratz, empresa que da soporte al catálogo, ha desarrollado con éxito una nueva versión del Catálogo.
