Abstract

A lo largo de los años 2015 y 2016 el Instituto Botánico de Barcelona (IBB) llevó a cabo la digitalización de parte de los fondos de su biblioteca y archivo gracias al programa Barcelona Open Challenge promovido por el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona. Dicho programa especificaba varias líneas de actuación centradas en el desarrollo de iniciativas tecnológicas aplicadas a cualquier ámbito de la vida, incluyendo una titulada “herramientas para la digitalización de colecciones de museos y archivos”. Dentro de esta línea, el IBB presentó tres proyectos (dos en 2014 y uno en 2015) que fueron seleccionados por el jurado.
