Abstract

La fauna de bupréstidos de nuestras posesiones del Sáhara es prkticamente desconocida, pues los numerosos trabajos y descripciones publicados sobre la fauna norteafricana de esta familia se refieren a las zonas circundantes y a otras más lejanas. Las campañas de exploración realizadas últimamente por E. Morales Agacino y J. Mateu Sanpere nos permiten hoy avanzar un primer comentario sobre los bupréstidos que colonizan la citada región, los cuales constituyen una pincelada de color sobre la sombría masa característica de la fauna desértica.
