Modulación mecánica en hidrogeles de polietilenglicol

Abstract

El objetivo del presente Proyecto Fin de Máster es modular las propiedades mecánicas en hidrogeles de polietilenglicol. El método seguido para la fabricación del material es la fotopolimerización de una disolución acuosa con la concentración deseada de un derivado acrilado de polietilenglicol, siguiendo un patrón deseado. Para ello es necesario preparar la disolución de polietilenglicol diacrilato 700Da y agua Milli-Q a la cual se añade un iniciador de la fotopolimerización, una vez homogeneizada la mezcla durante un tiempo se introduce en un depósito de vidrio de 1mm de profundidad y se fotopolimeriza con un láser UV, resultando finalmente la estructura deseada. En este proyecto se han estudiado los efectos de parámetros de procesado tales como la concentración total de polietilenglicol en la disolución de partida y la velocidad de escritura del láser-UV en las propiedades mecánicas del hidrogel obtenido. Y se han comparado los resultados obtenidos experimentalmente con los resultados de modelos teóricos y de simulación.
