Comportamiento de Trifolium pratense L. frente a la fertilización fosfórica en ambiente mediterráneo de la provincia de León

Abstract

Durante el periodo 2010-2012 se realizó un ensayo de fertilización fosfórica en tres zonas de un prado de la localidad de Mansilla Mayor (León) con diferente proporción de Trifolium pratense L.: baja proporción (≤16%), mediana (>16 y <30%) y alta (≥30%) distribuidas en seis parcelas de 3 m x 2 m; dos actuaron de parcelas testigo, dos se fertilizaron con de 80 kg ha-1 de P2O5 y las otras dos con 240 kg ha-1. Las condiciones de campo fueron las características de los pastos en las vegas de la provincia de León: vallicares asentados sobre suelos profundos, pH cercano a la neutralidad, ricos en MO, buena relación C/N y niveles de fósforo reducidos. Los descensos de trébol violeta, en porcentaje de presencia, debidos a la fertilización fosfórica no fueron significativos en las condiciones del ensayo y tampoco se relacionaron con la abundancia de esta leguminosa al inicio del mismo. La temperatura media anual 2,5 °C más alta y precipitaciones 740 mm menores respecto a ensayos de fertilización anteriores en montaña, favorecieron la mayor persistencia de esta leguminosa. La acumulación de fósforo en capas superficiales y su escasa presencia en capas profundas actuó favorablemente en el desarrollo del trébol violeta.
