Estudios sobre Tisanópteros de España: II. Redescripción de Gynaikothrips ficorum (Marchal) y concepto actual del género Gynaikothrips Zimmermann, nuevo para la fauna continental europea (Thysanoptera, Phloeothripidae)

Desde hace una decena de años conocíamos la existencia en España de un tisanóptero fleotrípido que se desarrolla en gran número sobre los Ficus de hoja menuda (Ficus nitida) que dan densa sombra a las avenidas o adornan los paseos de Almería y Murcia, y cuyas hojas deforma con sus picaduras, constituyendo agallas muy características.
