Crustaceos españoles: I. Un nuevo Leander (Decap. Macr.) para la fauna carcinológica española

Abstract

Durante su veraneo en Guipúzcoa, mi cuñada Dª Consuelo Colom de Bofill, ha tenido la gentileza de recogerme, accediendo a mis deseos, unos cuantos crustáceos decápodos, principalmente en la ría de Orio; el objetivo de estas capturas era el Palaemonetes varians que en aquella localidad y en corto número de individuos jóvenes había obtenido yo a mediados de septiembre de 1935, y si bien esta especie no figura entre las recogidas este verano, hay una, no obstante, que por ser nueva para la fauna española creo justifica la publicación de este trabajo ; se trata del Leander longirostris (H. M. Edw.), representado por ocho ejemplares jóvenes (hembra-hembra), alguno defectuoso, encontrado entre numerosos Leander squilla var. intermedia De Man (hembra-hembra) ovígeras e individuos jóvenes) y Leander serratus (Penn).
