[ES] Este artículo propone una reflexión personal, desde la propia experiencia del autor en el campo de la musicología y en el de la práctica musical profesional, acerca del papel de la musicología en la recuperación del patrimonio musical histórico y, en concreto, de la práctica musical histórica, su influencia en el desarrollo de las corrientes de interpretación “históricamente informada” y la tradicional, artificial y perniciosa distancia entre músicos y musicólogos.
[EN] This paper proposes a personal reflection from the author's own experience in the field of musicology and professional musical practice, about the role of musicology in the recovery of historical musical heritage and, in particular, of historical performance practice, its influence on the development of current “historically informed performance”, and about the traditional, artificial and pernicious distance between musicians and musicologists.
